Parklandia stands as a testament to creating inclusive spaces in traditionally exclusive environments. As a key contributor to this transformative project, I orchestrated multiple touchpoints that amplified diverse voices in the outdoor recreation space.
My role centered on crafting narratives that broke down barriers. Through strategic content development, I shaped compelling podcast scripts that didn't just showcase America's natural wonders but intentionally created pathways for underrepresented communities to see themselves in these spaces. The social media strategy I developed served as a bridge, connecting diverse audiences with outdoor experiences through authentic storytelling and community engagement.
As an LGBTQ+ voice in the outdoor industry, I championed representation by weaving inclusive narratives throughout our content ecosystem. This wasn't just about creating content—it was about catalyzing change in how outdoor spaces are perceived and experienced. By amplifying queer perspectives in travel storytelling, we challenged traditional narratives and created a more welcoming environment for all adventurers, particularly those from marginalized communities.
